January Kickoff Cruise BIG Success!
All of 22 boats and 46 fun-lovin’ cruisers showed up for the Kick-off Cruise to Harborwalk. Chairman, Watts Cutter says, “thanks to the perfect weather, flat seas and plenty of water under our keels, we had one of our largest groups ever”.
Friday night was “Italian Night” when all boaters contributed to a potluck spaghetti dinner served aboard Faye and Watts Cutter’s boat, At Last. Drinks and appetizers started the evening aboard Jane and Mike Down’s boat Downtime. Desserts were served aboard Chekara, owned by Katy and Minor Peoples. Faron Daigle played guitar and most boaters sang along and/or danced till the wee hours!
On Saturday night, the cruisers gathered for cocktails aboard Camille and Locke Bryan’s Hollywood Ending, then headed to Harborwalk restaurant “Floyd’s” for dinner.
Sunday morning came early as our flotilla headed east on the ICW and returned to our homeport at LYC. A great weekend was had by all!
