Keels & Wheels Uncorked
Lakewood's heading to the Wynden for the 7th Annual Keels & Wheels Uncorked Fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Harbor! Honoring Texas legend Mickey Gilley, this year's fundraiser headlines live entertainment from the country western icon along with exceptional food and wines from Houston's top restaurants.

Participating restaurants will be assigned a classic car or vintage boat. Each chef will select a specific wine to match the unique ambience of the automobile or vessel. Additionally, custom-created hors d'oeuvres will be prepared to compliment the wine and complete the epicurean experience.

Here are the 2016 pairings that participants will enjoy:

Amalfi Ristorante Italiano & Bar

Almalfi's will pair with Veso Kossev's 1985 Ferrari 308 GTS. Chef/Owner Giancarlo Ferrara invites you to experience the tastes, aromas, and passions of his homeland right here in Houston through a culinary experience years in the making. The inspired menu at Amalfi emphasizes fresh seafood, vivid citrus, and cozy olive oil in addition to fresh pastas, an assortment of meats, family-made cheeses, cleanly crafted cocktails, and an extensive, thoughtful wine list.
