The Lakewood Yacht Club RS21 fleet is open to all LYC members for charter at any time for a fun sail, a training session, or a regatta. Select regattas throughout the year are open to both members and non-members.

Check Rides and Member Charters

To charter an LYC RS21, members should first complete a Check Ride with staff to ensure proper use of the boats. Contact Keamia Rasa Lucas at [email protected] to schedule a Check Ride.

Once the Check Ride is complete, LYC members can charter a boat Wednesday-Sunday on the RS21 Reservations page. Once an LYC member is certified to check out the RS21, they can bring non-members and non-certified members to crew with them. The rates are as follows:

4 hours or less = 1/2 day: $100
More than 4 hours = full day: $150
Check Ride: $75

Event Charters

Charter an LYC RS21 for any event or regatta, such as Friday Night Racing, or any of the Series Regattas on the RS21 Events page. LYC members simply log in with your LYC account. For events open to non-members, charterers should first create a guest account.
